Massage, Feldenkrais - Erik LaSeur
My desire to learn about how the body works led me from an accounting career to massage therapy 30 years ago. I’ve worked in various areas including hospice, sports, injury treatment, and wellness.
Wanting to figure out how I and my clients could move out of repeated cycles of pain, injury, and otherwise inefficient patterns brought me into studying the Feldenkrais Method.
I completed my Feldenkrais Teacher Training program 15 years ago and it’s become my main method for keeping my body and mind running at an optimum level. How we can learn to move in more efficient, less-damaging ways is a passion I’ve been pursuing for myself and my clients. How to find a more ideal organization so that muscles don’t strain and injuries are less likely to happen.
I utilize the ideas of ideal organization whether I’m running a race or doing a massage, the ability to be sensitive to my environment to make changes as needed.
I bring to every massage a connection I’ve honed over 30 years of working on and with people and animals.
Outside of work I spend time with my wife, kids, and grandkids, doing various home remodeling projects, walking my Labrador retriever, or out on a nice long run.
Massages available weekly on Thursday afternoons, and every other Friday afternoon.
