West Seattle Wellness is an oasis in the heart of town for relaxation and rejuvenation. To maintain this environment, we ask that all of our clients are respectful of others’ privacy. Kindly speak softly, and deactivate any communication devices, such as cell phones or pagers.

Your comfort and safety are of utmost importance. Our professionally trained therapists will always respect your personal boundaries by appropriately draping areas of your body that are not a focus of the treatment. Please feel free to wear as much or as little clothing as is comfortable during your acupuncture therapy service.

If this is your first visit, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete the necessary intake forms.

If a late arrival is unavoidable, please call the practitioner directly if possible. Or call our main office number and our answering service can contact the practitioner. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, as we must complete your personal service by the designated end-time in order to appropriately accommodate the next client.

Your appointment is reserved especially for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask that you notify us more than 24 hours in advance. For appointments cancelled within 24 hours, you will be charged the usual session rate.

We understand that sometimes mistakes happen and a check does not clear. If in the event we should receive a NSF charge for a check that does not clear, we would appreciate your cooperation in paying the additional fees that we have been charged from our bank. We will notify you of the amount and simply request that you submit the amount to us as soon as possible.

If you have health concerns or are pregnant, please be sure to notify our staff when booking your treatment. Our staff can offer guidance as to which treatments will be the most beneficial and those that should be avoided due to physical limitations or sensitivity.

Whether it is the room temperature, your music choices or the level of massage pressure, please communicate your preferences at the time of booking, or with your therapist so that he or she can make your time with us a special experience.

Please confirm directly with your provider as to the forms of payment accepted: Insurance Billing, MasterCard, Visa, HAS Card, Venmo, checks and/or cash.

At West Seattle Wellness, we can accommodate your musical interest by playing music for you during your treatment from our library songs. Please indicate your preferences and we will be happy to accommodate you.

Clients must be at least 18 years of age to experience treatment without parental guidance. If under 18, clients must be accompanied by a guardian and can only have treatments performed by therapists of the same gender.

We welcome your input and insights – both positive and negative — about your visit with us. If for any reason your experience at West Seattle Wellness has not met your expectations, feel free to ask for, call or email the Owner to discuss your concerns.
